At the Trade Fair Naaldwijk on 9, 10 and 11 March, SO Natural has introduced their latest concept: Just Add Ice. Every inch of the SO Natural Stand matched this theme. There were for example two refrigerators filled with orchids, Just Add Ice water bottles and coffee cups and the absolute highlight: a big ice cube with a frozen orchid inside.

This spectacular stand drew a lot of attention from visitors, but also the photographers and journalists, who were visiting the Trade Fair, were very interested to hear more about this concept.

Just Add Ice originates from the United States and gives consumers a revolutionary new way of watering orchids, which is not only very convenient, but also very suitable for the plant itself. To care for your orchid properly, you only have to, as the name suggests, add ice. To be precise; three ice cubes per plant per week. One of the fastest ways to kill an orchid is to over-water it. When placed on top of the media, the ice cubes will slowly release over time with no worries of over-watering. With the slow drip process, the water melts into the bark soil and seeps into the roots. The roots slowly soak up the water as it drips down, which prevents water from sitting at the bottom of the  pot.

At the Trade Fair Naaldwijk, SO Natural has introduced the Just Add Ice concept for the first time in The Netherlands. The response of the visitors was very good, but SO Natural also received a lot of compliments about their beautiful stand, which was developed together with Dorien van den Berg and Sandra Könings.
