SO natural boosts its sustainability credentials!

As the name of our company suggests, sustainability is part of SO natural’s DNA. We are proud to announce that the MPS-ProductProof certificate we were awarded this week signals another giant leap forward in our ambition to use the most environmentally friendly and sustainable production methods.
MPS-ProductProof is a system that registers which crop protection products have been use during cultivation 24/7. Regular sampling by independent inspectors makes CPP use transparent and gives customers and consumers the guarantee that certain, undesirable substances are not used in cultivation. This clearly demonstrates the efforts we make to promote sustainable cultivation practices, and allows us to provide maximum transparency.
Obtaining ProductProof certification is an element of our integral approach to sustainability. Sustainability is one of the strategic spearheads of our mission and is devoted high priority at our company.
SO natural’s ambition is to play an exemplary role in ornamental cultivation by growing Phalaenopsis in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way possible.
In addition to achieving this certification, SO natural also actively participates in two, major FSI (Floriculture Sustainability Initiative) projects aimed at creating greater transparency regarding the use of CPP throughout the entire chain.
SO natural therefore not only ranks among the largest orchid growers in the world, the company is also at the forefront of boosting sustainability in the ornamental plant sector.
We hope that more growers will follow our lead. This will positively contribute to improving the environment, but will also serve to strengthen the competitive position of the Dutch ornamental plant sector on the international market.
